Last Market of the Season - Feb 25th

This season flew by! This Saturday is your last chance to visit the market until we start up again in November. Come visit our farmers market this Saturday, Feb 25th 10:00-1:00 inside our heated greenhouse. We will have seventeen local farms and small businesses inside the greenhouse and in our parking lot will be The Whoo(pie) Wagon and National Sharpening Co.

Special guest this week is Terry Walters - she will be bringing her new cookbook: “Nourish: Plant-based Recipes to Feed Body,Mind and Soul”.

MEI MEI DUMPLINGS: fresh, fully cooked and chilled dumplings. Flavors include Lemongrass Pork, Cheddar Scallion Potato, Five Spice Tofu Mushroom and weekly seasonal specials.

TERRY WALTERS: Award-winning cookbook author, Terry Walters, returns to the market with her new book, “NOURISH: Plant-based Recipes to Feed Body Mind and Soul.” NOURISH features 200 vegan and gluten free recipes, a section dedicated to fermentation and gut health, artwork and photography throughout, and even her own poetry. What a great resource to inspire, educate, and empower home cooks to take full advantage of all that the market has to offer! The book features a lay-flat binding (no flipping pages) and is filled it with  information, tips, and Terry’s signature delicious recipes.

ELZIRE ACRE GOAT MILK SOAP: goat milk soap made from the milk of their organically fed goats with natural and organic ingredients, body butters and soap nets

SEAFOOD EXPRESS: Fresh, local seafood and chowder from a family run business. The pre-order page will have weekly specials and pre-ordering online for pickup at the market.

PURPLE CARROT BREAD CO.: Bread, scones, pretzels, bread sticks, croissants, power bars, brownies, take & bake dinners (mac & cheese, chicken pot pie, stuffed meatballs & short rib shepherds pie) and soups.
